Choosing to do something because we enjoy it or find it interesting. As opposed to doing it for an external incentive or because we feel pressure to do it, such as a reward or deadline.
The ability to sense the emotions of others, paired with the ability to imagine what someone else may be thinking or feeling.
The ability to remain in control of our behaviour, emotions, and thoughts in any situation. This includes the ability to manage disruptive emotions and impulses.
Being aware of the many aspects of the self, such as character traits, behaviours, triggers and feelings.
The ability to interact and communicate with others through verbal and non-verbal communication ( speech, gesture, facial expression and body language).
